Pakistani Flight Simulator Manufacturer’s Team Member Completes FSTD Evaluator Course at Coptersafety

Finland – Muhammad Abdulahad Khan of Pakistan-based simulator developer FSDC Aerosolutions has completed Training Technology International's FSTD Evaluators Full Course at Coptersafety in Helsinki, Finland, during July 2026.

• TTI's FSTD Evaluators Full Course is a six-day programme combining classroom instruction with practical evaluation exercises for personnel involved in FSTD evaluation and qualification.
• Khan said the course covered EASA CS-FSTD requirements, FAA 14 CFR Part 60, Qualification Test Guide assessment, objective and subjective testing, simulator fidelity and FSTD qualification processes. He also highlighted the FSTD Capability Signature concept introduced under EASA's revised framework.
• TTI describes the programme as intended for regulatory authority personnel, FSTD operators and users, simulator manufacturers, military organisations and personnel involved in simulator procurement or qualification. Practical elements include evaluation procedures and QTG-related assessment rather than classroom regulatory study alone.
• FSDC – Aerosolutions describes itself as the simulator and synthetic training systems division of Aerosolutions (Pvt.) Ltd., responsible for the design, development, integration and support of fixed- and rotary-wing simulation and mixed-reality training systems. Its work includes full-motion simulators, VR/XR devices and custom simulation solutions.
• AFM previously reported that FSDC had expanded Pakistan's domestic simulation capability through projects including the delivery of three full-motion simulators to the Pakistan Aviation Institute of Simulator Training in 2024 and the delivery of what it described as Pakistan's first mixed-reality rotary-wing simulator in June 2025.
