Florida, USA – Pan Am Flight Academy, a Miami-based full flight simulator training center operator, has appointed Federico Flores Navarro as its Chief Commercial Officer, following the organisation's acquisition of Flores's former company, Part 142 training organisation Alliance Aviation.

  • Federico Flores Navarro founded and led Alliance Aviation, during which the Florida-based FAA Part 142 pilot training organisation built a broad international customer base with particularly strong relationships across Latin America.
  • In January 2026, Acorn Capital Management — a middle-market private equity firm investing exclusively in Aerospace, Defense, Space, and Intelligence — announced that its portfolio company Pan Am Flight Academy had acquired Alliance Aviation. Alliance now operates as a division of Pan Am under continued leadership continuity.
  • Pan Am and Alliance had an established commercial partnership prior to the acquisition, including a jointly delivered ATP-CTP course that continued to record strong enrolment as recently as February 2026.
  • In his new CCO role, Flores Navarro will lead Pan Am Flight Academy's global commercial strategy, partnerships, and growth initiatives.

  • "After an incredible journey building Alliance Aviation, I’m honored to step into the role of Chief Commercial Officer at Pan Am Flight Academy. What started years ago as a vision to connect pilots around the world with high-quality training grew into partnerships, friendships, and opportunities across the global aviation community. The mission continues…just on a bigger runway, and we’re just getting started!" said Federico Flores Navarro, Chief Commercial Officer at Pan Am Flight Academy and former Owner of Alliance Aviation.
