Philippines-based First Aviation Academy Digitizes Intake and Resource Forecasting with Aeroplanned
Philippines – First Aviation Academy, a Philippines-based flight training organization, has implemented Aeroplanned’s planning and forecasting software to enhance intake modelling, resource allocation, and delivery confidence across its pilot training programs.
-
Prior to adopting Aeroplanned, First Aviation Academy relied on complex spreadsheets for budgeting and intake forecasting, making scenario changes time-consuming and difficult to validate.
-
The new system enables the academy to build and adjust monthly intake plans within minutes, allowing rapid changes to course numbers, training patterns, and intake sizes while immediately showing the impact on aircraft and instructor availability.
-
Current students now flow automatically into forward-looking forecasts, improving overall accuracy and reducing planning risk across training pipelines.
-
Enhanced visibility supports proactive planning, on-time program delivery, and clearer communication with airline and training partners, including the ability to demonstrate how each intake will be delivered and adjusted in real time.
Earlier this year Aeroplanned had announced the rollout of its new “3‑Month Tracking and Resource Planning Dashboard” offering tailored visibility of student progress and resource utilisation for flight schools.
-
The dashboard provides a three‑month forward view of training operations, highlighting who’s in training, how they are tracking, and where intervention may be required.
-
It links student progress with resource forecasts, enabling training organisations to see when capacity is constrained or when there is spare capacity, thus helping avoid bottlenecks or under‑utilisation.
-
Features include interactive metrics alignment (allowing schools to match the dashboard with their own KPI set) and custom tagging/grouping of cohorts or resources for flexible operational planning.
-
Earlier in May 2025, the company announced a feature‑suite release enhancing data‑accuracy tools—such as built‑in guidance to detect incomplete or outdated data points—designed for flight schools without dedicated planners.
