October 14, 2026

Florida, USA – Flight training organisation Phoenix East Aviation (PEA) announced that American Eagle regional carrier PSA Airlines has visited its campus on 7 October 2026 to engage with students and staff about airline pilot career opportunities. The visit continues previous recruitment engagement between the two organisations, providing prospective pilots with information on pathways toward commercial airline employment.

  • PSA Airlines' Cadet Program offers eligible participants up to US$15,000 in training and tuition assistance, alongside mentorship from airline pilots and a structured career pathway toward American Airlines.
  • The program is open to students from flight schools, colleges and universities throughout the United States. Applicants can enter after obtaining a Private Pilot Certificate and progress through additional cadet levels as they achieve instructor qualifications, accumulate flight hours and meet airline recruitment requirements.
  • The airline's career pathway allows eligible cadets to progress toward First Officer positions with PSA Airlines and subsequently transition to American Airlines through an established flow-through arrangement, subject to meeting applicable qualifications and employment requirements.
