Pilot 100 Launches EASA ATPL Theory App for iPhone and iPad

Germany – German-developed aviation training platform Pilot 100 has launched its EASA ATPL(A) exam-preparation application on Apple’s App Store, giving cadets access to its 27,000-plus-question study platform on iPhone and iPad. The launch extends Pilot 100’s existing browser and flight-school offering ahead of a planned complete EASA ATPL(A) theory course in October 2026.

• Pilot 100 currently lists more than 27,000 questions covering all 13 EASA ATPL(A) theoretical knowledge subjects and aligned with the 2026 EASA learning objectives and ECQB framework.
• Each question is supported by explanations and, where applicable, diagrams and attachments. The platform also includes adaptive study planning, weak-area identification, performance analytics, exam-style testing and progress tracking.
• The mobile release gives cadets access to the same ATPL preparation environment from iPhone and iPad, extending a platform that was previously available through Pilot 100’s web-based interface.
• Pilot 100 is also developing a complete EASA ATPL(A) theory library covering all 13 subjects from Air Law through Communications, with worked examples and technical diagrams. The company’s September announcement states that the complete theory course is planned to follow in October 2026.
• The company is separately positioning the technology for Approved Training Organisations. Its flight-school platform allows ATOs to create classrooms, assign progress tests, monitor cohorts and maintain examination records using the same underlying question bank.
• Pilot 100 states that its institutional platform is already in production. Its current website specifies that at least one flight school is operating its ATPL theory program through the system, with additional schools in discussion.
• The product roadmap also includes a distance-learning environment combining video lessons, study guides, diagrams and lesson-level progress monitoring, allowing ATOs to retain oversight of students undertaking remote theoretical training.
• Apple lists the Pilot100Atpl application as an education app developed by M2A Facility Management GmbH. The current release is designed for iPhone and iPad, requires iOS/iPadOS 15.0 or later and is delivered in English.
