Chicago, USA – Spartan College of Aeronautics and Technology, one of the largest aviation education institution in the country, is seeking an EVP, Chief Financial Officer to lead its financial operations in the aviation education sector. The CFO will oversee financial reporting, forecasting, audits, cash management, and capital raising, playing a critical role in the company’s strategic growth and operational efficiency.

Candidate Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or Finance
  • 8–10 years of experience in financial management and leadership
  • Experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) is required
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred
  • Title IV experience is a plus
  • Strong management, analytical, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in database systems, accounting applications, and Microsoft Office

Key Duties

  • Direct financial reporting, forecasting, and audits
  • Oversee budgeting, expense management, and financial planning
  • Analyze operations to identify areas for efficiency improvements
  • Lead planning processes in coordination with the CEO and senior executives
  • Evaluate and structure acquisitions, including due diligence and transaction documentation
  • Manage investment strategies and secure capital for expansion initiatives
