Pilot Licensing Processes in Türkiye Now Fully Digital
Türkiye – The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (SHGM) has announced the full digitalisation of pilot licensing procedures, with all licence applications and transactions now conducted exclusively online via KDM‑ORG and KDM‑ERP systems, effective February 16, 2026.
-
As of February 8, 2026, the SHGM ceased accepting physical documents for pilot licence applications, marking a complete shift to digital platforms.
-
The new system, operational through KDM‑ORG and KDM‑ERP, replaces legacy physical processes and enables end-to-end electronic tracking and application submission.
-
The digitalisation aims to enhance speed, transparency, and operational efficiency in all licensing activities managed by SHGM.
-
The shift also supports improved integration and oversight of e-training, examinations, and certification, aligning regulatory processes with broader digital transformation in aviation.
