Piper Aircraft and ATP Flight School Sign Fleet Agreement for Over 30 New Trainer Aircraft

USA –  flight training group ATP Flight School has placed a firm order with Piper Aircraft for six training aircraft and secured options for 25 additional aircraft in 2027.

• The firm order comprises three Piper Archer TX single-engine aircraft and three Piper Seminole multi-engine aircraft, with a further 25 aircraft covered by options.
• The three Archer TX aircraft are scheduled for delivery within 30 days of the July 20 announcement. The three Seminoles are scheduled to follow in 2027.
• ATP uses the Archer TX for single-engine phases and the Seminole for multi-engine instruction within its Airline Career Pilot Program. The Archer TX is equipped with Garmin G1000 NXi avionics and a Garmin G5 standby display.
• ATP reports a current fleet of 658 aircraft, comprising:
  • 230 Piper Archer TXs
  • 102 Piper Seminoles
• The training provider also operates 177 simulation devices, including 107 Precision Flight Controls advanced aviation training devices and 11 CRJ-200 flight training devices.
• ATP operates more than 85 training centers and 26 maintenance bases across the United States.
• The company said its aircraft availability supports a student-to-aircraft ratio of three to one.
