Piper Aircraft to Open Vero Beach Service Center in Q4 2027

Florida, USA – aircraft manufacturer Piper Aircraft will expand its Vero Beach headquarters with a new factory-supported service center scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2027. The project will expand maintenance capacity and create at least 20 technician, A&P mechanic and support positions in Vero Beach.

• The facility will provide more than 33,000 square feet of indoor space and 11,000 square feet of outdoor service area, with seven indoor aircraft bays and four outdoor bays.
• Construction is scheduled to begin later in 2026, with the opening planned to coincide with Piper’s 90th anniversary in 2027.
• The center will support Piper operators across the eastern United States, Caribbean, Mexico and Central America as a factory-supported independent service provider.
• Planned activities include scheduled inspections, heavy maintenance, factory-supported repairs, new and pre-owned aircraft deliveries and customer support.
• Piper said the investment is partly intended to support growth in its M-Class fleet, comprising the M700 Fury, M500 and M350.
• The two-story building will also contain customer lounges and administrative offices and will form part of Piper’s existing 30-acre manufacturing campus at Vero Beach Regional Airport.
• Piper currently lists 90 authorized service centers worldwide, with the new Vero Beach facility adding factory-supported capacity within its home region.
• AFM previously reported that Piper delivered nearly 300 aircraft in 2024, representing a 20% increase over 2023 and providing context for the manufacturer’s expansion of customer-support infrastructure.
