Private-Radar Launches AI Course Progress Report

Global – Flight school management software provider Private-Radar has launched an AI Course Progress Report that analyses student training records and generates structured performance summaries within its Flight School Management System. The feature could reduce the administrative time required for course reviews while supporting earlier identification of recurring competency and performance issues.

• The tool reviews six principal record categories:
  • Flight exercise results
  • Competency assessments
  • Instructor comments
  • Evaluation reports
  • Grading trends
  • Historical performance
• Generated reports cover overall course progress, competency development, recurring instructor observations, strengths and weaknesses, performance trends, areas requiring further training and the evidence supporting each conclusion.
• The system uses artificial intelligence, natural language processing and performance analysis to examine records across a student’s full course rather than assessing individual lessons in isolation.
• Private-Radar said the feature can group recurring themes within instructor comments and compare them with competency assessments and grading patterns, including learning plateaus and persistent weaknesses.
• Reports are generated from training data already held within Private-Radar, without requiring manual exports or duplicate data entry. Training organisations can configure terminology, competency frameworks, regulatory requirements, reporting formats and writing style.
• The report is intended as a decision-support function. Instructors and training organisations remain responsible for reviewing the findings and making final training decisions.
• Private-Radar’s wider platform includes scheduling, student progress monitoring, aircraft and maintenance management, billing, safety reporting, document control and Competency-Based Training and Assessment functions.
• AFM previously reported that Private-Radar supported more than 70,000 users across over 140 training organisations in 40 countries during 2025, processing more than 1.2 million bookings and tracking over 500,000 flight hours.
