Propair Flight Highlights Microsoft Flight Simulator Shark 600 Development with Wingman Aviation

Global – Budapest-based flight simulation software developer Propair Flight has published further details of its completed collaboration with Germany-based Wingman Aviation to create a digital version of the Shark 600 for Microsoft Flight Simulator.

• The Shark 600 package supports Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024 and incorporates a detailed 3D aircraft model, textures and animations, Dynon SkyView HDX avionics, an autopilot interface and a flight model that Propair Flight states was developed for accurate representation of the aircraft.
• Propair said its contribution to the project covered high-fidelity 3D modelling, aircraft animations and flight dynamics, with the development intended to reproduce the characteristics and performance of the physical Shark 600 as closely as practical within the simulation environment.
• The development was undertaken with Wingman Aviation, Shark.Aero’s official distribution partner for Germany and Switzerland. Wingman Academy is also an authorised Shark.Aero training partner and currently delivers Shark conversion, advanced, formation and mountain-flying training.
• Propair Flight currently markets the Shark 600 digital aircraft as a downloadable Microsoft Flight Simulator product and describes the collaboration as combining aviation, flight training and immersive technology.
• Wingman Aviation separately provides the MSFS 2020/2024 Shark 600 through its website and states that the package includes a detailed model and animations, a flight model developed around the aircraft, and a custom-coded Dynon SkyView HDX avionics implementation.
• The physical Shark 600 is a two-seat tandem light aircraft with retractable landing gear. Wingman Aviation uses the aircraft within its Shark-focused pilot training activity from locations including Neuhausen ob Eck in Germany.
