Ras Al Khaimah International Airport becomes permanent home to ActionFlight’s two Extra 330 high performance aerobatic aircraft, the original air race type, which will shortly be offering passengers first-hand the chance of a lifetime to experience loops and rolls along the Ras Al Khaimah coastline – From a first ever commercial aerobatic operation in the UAE.

ActionFlight had a fantastic first season of Hot Air Ballooning with fabulous five-star reviews, will be resuming the hot air balloon flights in September 2023, to be followed closely by another first for the Northern Emirates with Skydiving due to start later in the year.

ActionFlight/Vertical UPRT also being the first commercial air operator to provide Pilot Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) in the UAE, based at Ras Al Khaimah International Airport. This caters to a new GCAA regulatory requirement, following the European Aviation Safety Agency EASA’s 2019 introduction and recommendation and mandate for professional pilots to undergo advanced theoretical and ‘on aircraft’ flight training, to help pilots identify and mitigate in flight dangers, with the aim of providing the pilots with required competencies to recover from aeroplane upsets.
