Regional Airport in Oregon to Host New Airline Pilot-Training Program from 2026

November 23, 2025

Oregon, USA – Boutique Air, a U.S. commuter airline, has secured a five-year lease to establish a dedicated pilot-training classroom at Eastern Oregon Regional Airport in Pendleton, marking a notable expansion of its in-house training footprint and increasing regional pilot-training activity.

  • The Pendleton City Council approved the lease on 18 November, enabling pilot-training classes exclusively for Boutique Air crews to begin in early 2026.
  • Each training cycle will bring six to eight pilots to Pendleton for four to six weeks, increasing airport utilisation and generating demand for lodging, food services, and other local businesses.

Boutique Air currently operates 18 Pilatus PC-12 aircraft. Source: City of Pendleton and Boutique Air
