Chile – Reiser Simulation and Training GmbH (RST), a Germany headquartered flight simulator manufacturer and operator, is exhibiting at FIDAE 2026, Latin America's premier aerospace and defence exhibition, taking place from 7–12 April in Santiago de Chile. The company reported it has already held discussions with representatives of the Chilean Air Force during the event.

  • Reiser is represented at Booth G02 by Jonas Goercke and Frederik Rommel, engaging with delegates on training and education, next-generation helicopter procurement, connectivity solutions, and advanced concepts including Rear Cabin Training.
  • The FIDAE appearance marks Reiser's engagement with the Latin American military aviation market, where helicopter procurement cycles and associated training infrastructure requirements represent a growing addressable segment for the company's simulation portfolio.
  • Reiser has been in a period of significant growth in the helicopter simulation market. In November 2025, the company announced a strategic collaboration with Leonardo to co-develop a next-generation AW139 Level 3 Flight Training Device (FTD) for the civil market, and secured a new AW139 FTD customer at the European Rotors 2025 event in Cologne.
  • Also in November 2025, Reiser and the Royal NLR – Netherlands Aerospace Centre announced a strategic partnership to develop and deliver high-fidelity H225M Caracal helicopter tactical training devices for the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF), with Reiser serving as prime contractor. The solution features fully networked, immersive simulation systems for both aircrew and ground-crew training.
  • Reiser's portfolio spans full flight simulators (FFS) and flight training devices (FTD) through to customised training solutions for both civil and military operators, with a focus on rotary-wing platforms.
