Germany – Reiser Simulation and Training and Varjo are hosting a one-day event at Reiser's facility in Berg-Moerlbach, near Munich, on 24 June 2026, featuring expert presentations, live XR training demonstrations across land, air, and civil aviation domains, and peer exchange with operators and decision-makers from across the aerospace and defense community.

  • The event will showcase the world's first qualified Mixed Reality Multi-Crew Coordination Training solution, developed jointly by Reiser and Varjo, alongside demonstrations of high-fidelity XR simulation across multiple operational domains.
  • Speakers include:
    • Nico Lange, Founder and Director of the IRIS Institute for Risk Analysis and International Security and Senior Fellow at CEPA in Washington D.C.
    • Jens Jessenberger, SVP and Head of Vehicle Mission and Training Systems at Rheinmetall, presenting on multi-domain mission training and integrated operational readiness
    • Florian Rabe, Managing Director of DRF Academy, sharing operator perspectives on XR simulation deployment.
  • The event targets operators, integrators, and decision-makers seeking to evaluate how mixed reality and virtual reality simulation can address evolving operational demands in pilot training and mission preparation.
  • Reiser and Varjo have been collaborating on XR-based training solutions, with Varjo's military-grade virtual and mixed reality headsets integrated into Reiser's simulation platforms. Varjo's XR technology is already deployed in over 100 defense programs worldwide.
