Saudi Arabia – Riyadh Air, the new national airline of Saudi Arabia, is seeking to recruit Experienced Flight Simulator Instructors for its Airbus A321 fleet, signalling the buildout of its in-house pilot training capability as the carrier prepares for commercial operations on its 60-aircraft A321neo order.
- The role requires a minimum of 1,000 hours as a Simulator Instructor within an airline flight operations environment, or at least 1,000 hours of instructional experience on an aircraft type relevant to the Riyadh Air fleet, plus a minimum of 2,500 flying hours as Pilot-in-Command (Captain) in a commercial airline setting.
- Responsibilities include delivering structured simulator-based training, performance evaluation, and ongoing curriculum improvement aligned with regulatory compliance and Riyadh Air's operational standards.
- The recruitment reflects Riyadh Air's parallel development of training infrastructure alongside fleet delivery: the airline holds firm orders for 60 Airbus A321neo aircraft and in December 2025 ordered an MPS-manufactured A321neo FTD-2, with the simulator instructor hiring indicating the activation of the A321 training pipeline ahead of aircraft delivery and route launch.
