Romania – After launching Romania’s first APS MCC training program on a Simnest A320 FNPT II MCC simulator, FlightPath Aviation Training is expanding its training capacity with a second Simnest device to meet growing demand.
When FlightPath Aviation Training introduced APS MCC training in Romania two years ago, the program was supported by a high-fidelity, type-representative Simnest A320 FNPT II MCC simulator — the first device of its kind in the country.
Since then, the APS MCC program has attracted strong interest from cadets seeking a more airline-oriented, operationally focused transition from flight school to the multi-crew cockpit. The success of the training, together with FlightPath Aviation Training’s growth over the past two years, has now led the organization to order a second Simnest A320 FNPT II MCC simulator.
The new order marks an important milestone in the development of FlightPath Aviation Training. It will increase simulator availability, allow the organisation to support more cadets, and further strengthen its capacity for advanced, airline-oriented pilot training in Romania.
For Simnest Aviation, the renewed cooperation is also a strong confirmation of the long-term value of its simulator concept. Designed specifically for professional pilot training, the Simnest A320 FNPT II MCC provides a highly realistic A320 environment, supporting the development of multi-crew cooperation, standard operating procedures, decision-making, workload management, and airline-style cockpit discipline.
“Introducing APS MCC training in Romania was an important step for us, and the response from cadets has exceeded our expectations,” said Cosmin Gherman, Head of Training at FlightPath Aviation Training. “The Simnest A320 FNPT II MCC simulator has played a key role in this success. Its high-fidelity, type-representative environment allows our instructors to deliver training that is closer to real airline operations. Both our instructors and cadets appreciate the realism, reliability, and training value of the device, which is why choosing Simnest again for our second simulator was a natural decision.”
“We are very proud to continue our cooperation with FlightPath Aviation Training,” said Balázs Herendi, Sales Director at Simnest Aviation. “Their growth over the past two years clearly shows the value of high-quality APS MCC training and the importance of the right simulator environment behind it. We are pleased that our A320 FNPT II MCC has contributed to their success, and we are honored that they have chosen Simnest again for the next stage of their development.”
With the new order, FlightPath Aviation Training joins Simnest’s growing number of returning customers, demonstrating the confidence training organisations place in Simnest’s high-fidelity, type-representative training devices and long-term operational support.
