Rotax Aviation Industry Forum India 2026 Set for New Delhi in October

India – Aircraft engine manufacturer Rotax will hold the ROTAX Aviation Industry Forum India 2026 in New Delhi on October 6, bringing together Flying Training Organisations (FTOs), aircraft manufacturers, MRO providers, aircraft owners and other general aviation stakeholders. The event is being positioned around India’s expanding pilot-training sector and the opportunity for local operators to engage directly with international suppliers serving the small-aircraft market.

• India’s Ministry of Civil Aviation listed 41 FTOs operating across 63 bases as of July 2, 2026. A further 11 FTOs received Letters of Intent in August for operations at seven Airports Authority of India airports, with the Ministry estimating that these additions could increase annual domestic pilot-training capacity by 750 cadets.
• The forum will take place at The Roseate House Aerocity in New Delhi from 14:30 on October 6, 2026. Event materials identify CFS Aeroproducts and Flemonte Aviation alongside Rotax and describe the gathering as focused specifically on flying training and the small-aircraft ecosystem.
• Intended participants include existing and planned FTOs, global aircraft OEMs, small-aircraft and microlight owners, MRO and aviation service providers, gyrocopter and recreational aviation operators, regulators, government representatives and wider industry stakeholders. Advanced Air Mobility companies are also being invited.
• Event materials list Tecnam, Pipistrel, Elixir Aircraft, Sling Aircraft, CSIR-NAL and AutoGyro among the participating global aviation industry partners. For Indian flight schools, the format is intended to provide direct engagement with manufacturers and suppliers covering aircraft acquisition, propulsion, maintenance and operational support.
• The timing follows further expansion in India's domestic pilot-training market. The Ministry of Civil Aviation reported that 1,652 Commercial Pilot Licences were issued in 2025, up 19% from 1,347 in 2024, while its 2025 annual report projected a requirement for 30,000–40,000 new pilots over the following decade.
