Ryanair Appoints Capt. Ray Conway to Board of Directors in 2025

Ireland — Ryanair has announced the appointment of Capt. Ray Conway to its Board of Directors as a Non-Executive Director with oversight of Air Safety, effective 1 October 2025. Mr Conway replaces Capt. Mike O’Brien and aims to reinforce Ryanair's commitment to operational safety governance through experienced leadership.

• Conway previously served as Chief Pilot at Ryanair from 2002 to 2020, following a 13-year career as a pilot in the Irish Air Corps and his initial joining of Ryanair in 1987.

• Since retiring from Ryanair, Conway has provided consultancy on operational and safety matters to multiple international carriers, including Ryanair.

• He brings nearly four decades of aviation experience, with a specialized focus on flight operations, training, and safety management systems.
