Saudia Academy Participates in Acron Aviation’s Training Systems Conference in 2025
Jeddah, Saudi Arabia – Saudia Academy, the aviation training arm and full flight simulator training center of the Kingdom’s national carrier Saudia, participated this month in the Acron Aviation Training Systems Conference in the United Kingdom. Themed “Innovating for the Future”, the event brought together airlines, training providers, and industry leaders to explore innovation in aviation training amid evolving regulatory frameworks, new technologies, and changing workforce demands.
-
Saudia Academy was represented by Fahad Gadhei, Manager Sales and Marketing.
-
The conference highlighted how training organisations and airlines can better integrate emerging technologies and advanced training methodologies to meet global demand.
-
Earlier this year, Saudia Academy announced the construction of a new training centre in Riyadh, revealed at the Arab Aviation Summit.
-
Phase One of the Riyadh facility will include eight full-flight simulator bays for Airbus and Boeing aircraft types, with operations expected to commence by Q1 2026.
-
The Riyadh centre will complement Saudia Academy’s existing Jeddah-based training facility, significantly increasing the Kingdom’s training capacity.
-
The development is aligned with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, which prioritises building a global aviation hub through expanded infrastructure, airline growth, and workforce development.
