United Kingdom – Fife Flight Centre, a flight training organisation based at Fife Airport in Glenrothes, Scotland, has added two aircraft to its fleet — a Piper Warrior equipped with dual Garmin G5 flight displays and a Piper Arrow designated as the school's primary instrument rating trainer.
- The new Piper Warrior features dual Garmin G5 glass cockpit displays alongside traditional analogue instruments, enabling students to train with both steam gauge and glass cockpit environments simultaneously. Fife Flight Centre has designated this dual-display configuration as the new fleet standard for all its Warrior aircraft.
- The Piper Arrow, a complex aircraft with retractable undercarriage and variable pitch propeller, will serve as the primary training platform for the IR(R) instrument rating, providing students with systems experience integrated into the rating pathway rather than as a separate add-on.
- The Arrow will also form a core part of the training pathway for Aviation Academy Scotland Fastrack students working toward their Commercial Pilot Licence, extending Fife Flight Centre's offering beyond PPL into structured professional pilot training.
- Fife Flight Centre launched its structured commercial pilot training capability in partnership with Aeros Flight Training through the Aviation Academy Scotland Fastrack program, positioning the school to serve both recreational and career-track pilot training demand in Scotland.
