Scottish Flight School has Record Year – Logs 9,000 Hours of Flight Training
Scotland’s largest pilot training organisation, ACS Aviation operating from Perth Airport, Chief Executive Officer Graeme Frater has shared a few of the organisations 2022 milestones;
- Record number of students graduating from our flight training courses in 2022
- First time pass rate is over 95% for skills tests, through support from training organisation Flight Deck Wingman who manages the pre-entry assessment process and ensures that all students meet the required standard for flight training.
- ATPL Ground School students achieved an average of over 87% in the theory exams through support from Pathway Pilot Training Ltd.
- Launched the Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) Course in June 2022 using its Cessna 152 Aerobat aircraft
- Seen 20+ graduates achieve their dreams of gaining commercial flying roles
- Supported by simulator training organisation Simtech Aviation for an approved MCC & JOC combined course on a new 737-800 simulator based in Dublin
Mr. Frater also indicated that in 2023 ACS Aviation will launch its fleet renewal programme which starts with the addition of the Tecnam Aircraft P-Mentor.
