Australia – Sydney Flight College (SFC Australia) has welcomed 12 pilots into its latest Flight Instructor Rating cohort at its Sydney training operation.
About SFC Australia
SFC Australia traces its origins to Schofields Flying Club, formed in 1969, and now conducts flight training through Sydney Flight College at Bankstown Aerodrome and SFC Pilot Academy Tamworth. The organisation is a not-for-profit training provider operating as Schofields Flying Club Limited, with RTO 90866 and CASA Part 142 approval. SFC reported a fleet of 39 aircraft at the end of 2025. Its current Sydney fleet information identifies Piper Warrior, Piper Archer, Archer TX, Archer LX, Cessna 182T and Piper PA-44 Seminole aircraft, while its Tamworth training information also identifies Piper Cherokee and multi-engine training aircraft.
