Global – Simaero Engineering, the simulator engineering division of global pilot training centre operator Simaero, is promoting its Maintenance & Technical Support services for post-warranty flight simulators, positioning itself as a specialist alternative to original Training Device Manufacturers (TDMs) for operators facing longer lead times, higher costs, and limited spare parts availability on legacy and multi-brand devices.

  • Simaero Engineering's maintenance and technical support offering targets a well-known industry pain point: post-warranty simulator downtime, where every hour offline results in cancelled training sessions, disrupted schedules, and lost revenue for training center operators.
  • The service model provides rapid diagnosis (remote or on-site), clear scope and upfront quoting, and resolution through Simaero Engineering's own engineers or by involving the right specialist partners when needed.
  • The offering is positioned as a responsive complement to TDM support, addressing three specific market challenges: post-warranty TDM support coming with longer lead times and higher costs as OEMs focus on in-production fleets; internal maintenance teams reaching the limits of their capability on complex or cross-system faults; and spare parts for legacy or multi-brand simulators not being readily available when needed.

Simaero Engineering completed 10 simulator relocations across six countries in 2025 and expanded its team with two new hires, demonstrating growing demand for independent simulator engineering services across the global training market.
