Simaero India Seeking Synthetic Flight Instructor's for 2026 Training Operations

India – Simaero, France-headquartered global pilot training organisation with training centres across Europe, Asia, and Africa, is seeking to recruit Synthetic Flight Instructor (SFI/SFE) for its new Airbus A320 training operations in Gurugram.

• The role requires delivery of simulator-based training sessions in compliance with DGCA CAR Section 7, Series I, Part II regulations, Simaero policies, and approved training curricula.
• The position is subject to formal approval by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) as per applicable Civil Aviation Requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct simulator training sessions as directed by the Head of Training (HoT) under DGCA-approved training programs
• Maintain valid and current licenses, approvals, and ratings as required by DGCA.
• Ensure continued medical fitness to perform instructional duties.
• Verify simulator serviceability and readiness before each training session.
• Uphold the highest standards of aviation safety during all training activities.
• Accurately complete training records and maintain personal qualification records.
• Assist the HoT in developing and updating training courses to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide feedback on training device performance and report discrepancies as necessary.
• Perform quarterly subjective flyout and as on required basis
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head of Training.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid DGCA-approved Synthetic Flight Instructor authorization on relevant aircraft type(s)
• Proven experience in simulator instruction and pilot training.
• In-depth knowledge of DGCA CARs and ATO training requirements.
• Strong mentoring, and interpersonal skills. Commitment to safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency in curriculum design and training outcome assessment.
• Familiarisation with Learning Management System

Preferred Competencies:

• Prior authorization as a DE/SFE/TRI(A)/TRI(S) will be a plus
• Knowledge to Competency Based Training Assessment will be a plus
