Simaero to Launch Simulator Training Operations in India by January 2026
India – Simaero, a France-based global full-flight simulator training group, has announced plans to commence simulator training operations in India by late January 2026, marking a significant expansion of its footprint into South Asia’s rapidly growing pilot training market.
- The company expects to receive Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) approval in January 2026 to operate as an Approved Training Organisation (ATO).
- The new facility will initially feature an Airbus A320neo full-flight simulator, catering to type rating and recurrent training demand from Indian and regional airlines.
- A second simulator is scheduled to be added in the third quarter of 2026, as part of the centre’s phased expansion plan.
- Simaero is also in advanced discussions with airlines in India to establish long-term training partnerships aimed at supporting both line and recurrent training programs for narrowbody fleets.
