SIMCOM to Host New CAE Full-Flight Simulator for Pilatus PC-24 in 2026
Orlando, Florida, USA — CAE has announced the deployment of a new state-of-the-art Pilatus PC-24 Full-Flight Simulator (FFS) at the SIMCOM Aviation Training Centre in Lake Nona, Florida. This simulator will complement another PC-24 FFS being installed at CAE Vienna, with both expected to be operational in the first half of 2026.
The initiative is part of CAE’s continued global investment in cutting-edge simulation technology for business aviation. Additionally, CAE will deploy a Flight Training Device (FTD) for the PC-12 NGX PRO, Pilatus Aircraft Ltd’s latest model, by the second half of 2025.
CAE announced in November 2024 that it would increase its ownership stake in its existing SIMCOM Aviation Training (SIMCOM) joint venture by purchasing a majority of SIMCOM shares from Volo Sicuro for USD $230 million, subject to customary adjustments – learn more about the transaction here.
