Simnest Group Expands Marketing Role Across Simnest Aviation and Simnest Pilot Academy

Hungary – The Simnest Group, the parent company of FSTD manufacturer Simnest Aviation and pilot training provider Simnest Pilot Academy, has expanded the marketing role of David Valkó to cover both entities within the group, unifying brand communication across its simulator development and pilot training operations.

  • Valkó, who previously served as Aviation Marketing Manager for Simnest Aviation, will now also support the marketing of Simnest Pilot Academy, reflecting the increasingly integrated relationship between the group's simulator manufacturing and cadet training activities.
  • Simnest Aviation is one of the leading manufacturers of fixed-base FSTDs in Europe, with 23 EASA-certified type-representative A320 and B737 FNPT II MCC simulators installed across eight European countries, and proprietary FMGS software also in use in North America and Asia.
  • Simnest Pilot Academy, a Wizz Air training partner, operates four Simnest A320 FNPT II MCC simulators and has trained nearly 2,500 students including more than 1,700 MCC and APS-MCC graduates, with student numbers nearly doubling every year.
  • The Simnest Group was established in October 2025 as a unified parent brand to bring Simnest Aviation and Simnest Pilot Academy closer together, with Captain Gyula Kühtreiber appointed as Group CEO to lead strategic development.
