Simnest Pilot Academy Adds 3 Airbus A320 Cockpit Procedure Trainers

October 21, 2026

Hungary – Simnest Pilot Academy, a Budapest-based simulator training organisation, has expanded its pilot training facilities with the arrival of three Airbus A320 cockpit procedure trainers. The additional equipment will allow students to practise flight deck familiarisation and cockpit procedures independently of scheduled simulator sessions, supporting preparation for airline-oriented training.

  • Simnest Pilot Academy's existing training infrastructure includes four Airbus A320 FNPT II MCC simulators, supporting Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC), Airline Pilot Standards Multi-Crew Cooperation (APS MCC) and related airline pilot training activities.
  • The academy also provides on-site student accommodation within the same complex as its simulator training facilities. Accommodation options include studio apartments and shared flats, allowing cadets to access training equipment without travelling between separate accommodation and training locations.
  • AFM previously reported that Simnest Group had delivered more than 25 flight simulators internationally, while Simnest Pilot Academy had issued over 2,000 official training certificates by October 2026. The group's training operations had also accumulated nearly 40,000 simulator operating hours.
