Türkiye – Aviation training management software provider Simorg has highlighted how Pegasus Airlines uses its platform to connect crew planning with simulator slot creation, training records, compliance reporting and technical management processes.
- Pegasus Airlines currently lists a fleet of 112 aircraft comprising 51 Airbus A321neos, 46 A320neos, six A320ceos and nine Boeing 737-800s, providing the operational scale behind its requirement for recurring pilot training and training-device management.
- Simorg's integration with Pegasus's crew planning system automatically creates training slots and returns the resulting information to kiosks used by crews and instructors, according to Tuğrul Ünaydın, Aviation Technologies Accountable Manager at Pegasus.
- Pegasus also uses the platform for training logs and compliance reporting, while additional Simorg functions support simulator inventory, maintenance scheduling, audit planning and risk assessments.
- Simorg's current product suite combines planning and scheduling, technical operations, training records, compliance, inventory and tool management, finance and reporting. Its technical functions include device maintenance scheduling, defect tracking and simulator calibration management, while its compliance tools support audit planning and regulatory reporting.
- Pegasus holds Approved Training Organisation authorisations covering the Airbus A320 Family and Boeing 737-300/900, together with approvals for type rating, TRI/SFI, TRE/SFE, MCC/MCCI and MPL/MPLI training. The airline also lists a simulator training centre among its training authorisations.
