Simorg Hosts Air Greenland Head of Training for Software Training Session

October 20, 2026

Türkiye – Istanbul-based aviation training management software provider Simorg, developed by Gözen Digital Aviation, has hosted Brian Jørgensen, Head of Training at Air Greenland, for a dedicated software training session at its Istanbul headquarters. The engagement follows Air Greenland's selection of Simorg earlier in 2026 and supports the airline's use of the digital training management platform.

  • Air Greenland operates a mixed fixed-wing and helicopter fleet, with its published fleet information listing eight Dash 8 aircraft, one Airbus A330neo and helicopters comprising H125, AS350, H155 and H225 types. The airline's training requirements span multiple aircraft categories and operational environments.
  • During the visit, Jørgensen participated in a Simorg training session and exchanged operational insights with the Gözen Digital Aviation team. The company described the engagement as part of its ongoing customer support activities.
  • AFM previously reported that Simorg added Air Greenland to its customer base in April 2026, extending the platform into helicopter operator training management. The October engagement represents a subsequent training activity within that existing relationship.
  • Simorg integrates flight training planning, instructor and student scheduling, qualification tracking, training records, simulator technical management, regulatory compliance and reporting. Its training module supports resource allocation across aircraft or flight training devices, instructors and classrooms, alongside monitoring of training completion and qualification validity.
