Simtech Aviation Attends 2026 France Air Expo in Lyon to Promote APS MCC Program to Flight School Partners and ATPL Students

France – Dublin-based APS MCC and type rating training specialist Simtech Aviation attended France Air Expo in Lyon, engaging with flight school partners and ATPL students to promote its APS MCC training program.

• Simtech Aviation's Head of Sales and Commercial Operations, Maurice Shiels, represented the organization at the event, engaging directly with partner flight schools and prospective students.
• Partner flight school Avialpes, a flight training organization based in Southeastern France, was exhibiting at the expo, with Simtech meeting its representative Emmanuel on the show floor.
• Simtech also met with Jocelyn from Aeropyrenees, a French flight school and existing Simtech partner, alongside a group of 40 ATPL students, providing insight into Simtech's APS MCC course delivered from its Dublin facility.

Simtech Aviation has been delivering airline aligned pilot training since 2001, establishing itself as a recognized provider of APS MCC courses across Europe and the UK.

AFM previously covered its 2025 performance:

• 75% of student placements were secured with six leading airlines, including Wizz Air, Ryanair, Emerald Airlines (Aer Lingus Regional), Jet2, BA CityFlyer and TUI
• The remaining placements were achieved across a diverse international mix of airlines including Luxair, Brussels Airlines, Volotea, SunExpress, Aer Lingus, and Air Tahiti
