Ireland — Simtech Aviation is celebrating 25 years of Excellence in Airline Pilot Training, marking the milestone with strong student outcomes and continued investment in training infrastructure and airline partnerships.
In 2025, Simtech Aviation students achieved strong airline placement outcomes, progressing into roles with leading airlines across Europe and the UK.
A key highlight from 2025:
75% of student placements were secured with six leading airlines, including Wizz Air, Ryanair, Emerald Airlines (Aer Lingus Regional), Jet2, BA CityFlyer and TUI
The remaining placements were achieved across a diverse international mix of airlines including Luxair, Brussels Airlines, Volotea, SunExpress, Aer Lingus, and Air Tahiti
These results reflect continued demand for airline-ready pilots across both EASA and UK CAA markets.
Simtech Aviation has also developed structured partnership pathways with airlines including Wizz Air UK and Emerald Airlines (Aer Lingus Regional & Emerald UK), offering selected APS MCC graduates (EASA and UK CAA) direct access to airline assessment opportunities. These pathways reflect Simtech’s strong alignment with airline recruitment requirements, ensuring training is designed to prepare students for successful progression across multiple airline selection processes.
Training Designed for Airline Readiness
Simtech Aviation’s training philosophy is centered on preparing students for multiple airline opportunities, rather than a single airline pathway.
“At Simtech, we don’t train for one airline. We prepare our students to be airline assessment ready across multiple airlines and aircraft types.”
Training is delivered by current and former airline Captains, TRI’s and TRE’s, with a strong focus on real-world airline assessment preparation and long-term career progression.
25 Years of Experience, Backed by Investment
As part of its 25-year milestone, Simtech continues to invest in the future of pilot training:
Three new full-flight simulators arriving from 2026
A long-term partnership with Aer Lingus / IAG Group
Ongoing development of training programmes aligned to airline recruitment standards
Looking Ahead
Simtech Aviation will launch a series of student promotions from April 2026, as part of its 25-year celebration campaign, supporting continued student progression into airline careers.
