Ireland – Dublin based Simtech Aviation has welcomed nine students to its 16th APS MCC intake of 2026, comprising dual-licence, EASA and UK CAA cadets.
- Simtech’s APS MCC course comprises four days of ground school and 40 hours of Boeing 737-800 simulator training delivered over approximately 16 days. The syllabus covers crew resource management, airline operations, standard operating procedures, upset prevention and recovery training, aircraft systems and flight management system use.
- The course is approved for EASA and UK CAA applicants and concludes with simulator assessments before the applicable APS MCC certificate is issued.
- Simtech said course performance and instructor recommendations may provide access to its Wizz Air UK candidate pathway, while eligible EASA and UK CAA students may receive assessment opportunities with Emerald Airlines.
- Instruction is delivered by current and former airline pilots, training captains, Type Rating Instructors and Type Rating Examiners.
- Simtech reports that its graduates have progressed to more than 70 airlines worldwide since it began delivering multi-crew training in 2001.
