Simulator Manufacturer, BRUNNER Elektronik, Launches World’s First EASA-Compliant MR FNPT II Simulator

Switzerland– BRUNNER Elektronik AG has officially launched the world’s first and only EASA-compliant qualified Mixed Reality FNPT II simulator: the NOVASIM MR DA42, marking a groundbreaking advancement in civil aviation training.

The simulator replicates the Diamond DA42 aircraft and meets full EASA FNPT II qualification standards.The project was developed in collaboration with Lufthansa Aviation Training Group, Varjo, and key partners including FOCA (Federal Office of Civil Aviation Switzerland).The NOVASIM MR DA42 uses Varjo’s XR-4 Focal Edition headset to deliver immersive mixed reality, combining real and virtual cockpit elements.
