Simulator Manufacturer, BRUNNER Elektronik, to Showcase the Brand New and World’s First Qualified Mixed Reality FNPT II at EATS 2025

Portugal –BRUNNER Elektronik AG will be attending European Aviation Training Summit (EATS) 2025 in Cascais, Portugal bringing the NOVASIM MR DA42—the world’s first mixed reality FNPT II-qualified flight procedures & navigation simulator. Attendees can pre-book a test flight.

• The simulator replicates the Diamond DA42 aircraft and meets full EASA FNPT II qualification standards.
• The project was developed in collaboration with Lufthansa Aviation Training Group, Varjo, and key partners including FOCA (Federal Office of Civil Aviation Switzerland).
• The NOVASIM MR DA42 uses Varjo’s XR-4 Focal Edition headset to deliver immersive mixed reality, combining real and virtual cockpit elements.
