Simulator Manufacturer, BRUNNER Elektronik, to Showcase the Brand New and World’s First Qualified Mixed Reality FNPT II at EATS 2025

Portugal – BRUNNER Elektronik AG will be attending European Aviation Training Summit (EATS) 2025 in Cascais, Portugal bringing the NOVASIM MR DA42—the world’s first mixed reality FNPT II-qualified flight procedures & navigation simulator. Attendees can pre-book a test flight.

• The simulator replicates the Diamond DA42 aircraft and meets full EASA FNPT II qualification standards.

• The project was developed in collaboration with Lufthansa Aviation Training Group, Varjo, and key partners including FOCA (Federal Office of Civil Aviation Switzerland).

• The NOVASIM MR DA42 uses Varjo’s XR-4 Focal Edition headset to deliver immersive mixed reality, combining real and virtual cockpit elements.
