Skyborne Deploys 18 Integrated ATPL and Jet2FlightPath Trainees to Florida in July 2026

Florida, USA – global flight training group Skyborne has confirmed that 18 Integrated ATPL and Jet2FlightPath trainees have completed ground school and are transferring to its Vero Beach, Florida campus for single-engine flight training.

• The students will begin single-engine instruction and work towards their first solo flights at Vero Beach. The training phase covers day and night flying, cross-country navigation, aircraft handling, simulated emergency procedures and supervised solo flying.
• Skyborne’s Integrated ATPL course is structured across five phases and takes approximately 18 months to complete. Students undertake part of the program in Florida using the academy’s Piper single- and multi-engine aircraft before returning to the United Kingdom for subsequent training stages.
• Jet2FlightPath is an approximately 18-month, fully funded training pathway intended to prepare successful candidates for employment as Second Officers with Jet2.com. Skyborne is one of the airline’s authorised training providers.
• Skyborne reports operating more than 60 standardised aircraft at Vero Beach. Its fleet comprises Piper Warrior, Arrow, Pilot 100i and Seminole aircraft.
• The Vero Beach site is a 12-acre campus offering more than 320 flying days annually.
• The Vero Beach operation includes classrooms, simulators, aircraft hangars, student accommodation and recreational facilities. Skyborne also opened an Operations Control Center at the campus in April 2026 to provide centralised oversight of weather, aircraft, instructor and daily flight information.
