United Kingdom – Skyborne Airline Academy, a leading UK‑headquartered pilot training provider with flight training bases in the UK and the USA, has highlighted the open application window for the fully sponsored Jet2FlightPath programme, offering cadets a direct, funded pathway to join Jet2.com as a Second Officer.
Skyborne has been selected again by Jet2.com and Jet2holidays as an official training supplier for the Jet2FlightPath programme, reinforcing its role in delivering airline‑aligned pilot training.
The Jet2FlightPath application window opened on 17 February 2026, with a limited period anticipated to remain open until 10 March 2026.
The fully sponsored training pathway comprises four key phases:
Phase 1 – Theoretical Knowledge Training delivered at Skyborne’s UK training centres in Gloucestershire or Bournemouth.
Phase 2 – Single‑Engine Flight Training including Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) and advanced upset prevention and recovery training (UPRT) conducted in Vero Beach, Florida, USA.
Phase 3 – Multi‑Engine Instrument Rating (IR) Training back in the UK at Gloucestershire or Bournemouth.
Phase 4 – APS MCC (Airline Pilot Standards Multi‑Crew Cooperation) training at Gloucestershire Airport.
This structured programme provides a fully funded route to the flight deck with Jet2 and encapsulates both theoretical and practical pilot training elements designed to meet airline hiring standards.
