United Kingdom – UK pilot training provider Skyborne Airline Academy has opened access to Jet2.com’s new Jet2NextGen future pilot talent programme for eligible self-funded trainees. Successful applicants can receive ongoing airline engagement and a conditional employment offer that includes a Jet2-funded Airbus or Boeing type rating, while continuing to finance their remaining ab-initio training independently.

Skyborne Airline Academy is a commercial pilot training organisation founded in 2017, with training facilities at Gloucestershire and Bournemouth in the United Kingdom and Vero Beach in Florida. It delivers integrated, modular and airline-sponsored pilot pathways, including programmes linked to Jet2.com, British Airways, easyJet and other airline partners. Skyborne reports operating more than 60 Piper Warrior, Arrow, Pilot 100i and Seminole aircraft at Vero Beach. Its UK training fleet includes Diamond DA42 and Zlin aircraft, supported by Airbus A320, Boeing 737 MAX and Diamond DA42 training devices.
