USA — Skyfarer, an aviation marketplace connecting pilots with flight instructors, flight schools, and aviation professionals, announced a new set of inquiry tools designed to make it easier for students to find and contact the right flight training provider.

The update introduces an advanced inquiry form for flight instructor and school listings, allowing students to share optional training details when they reach out. Students can now include information such as their main training goal, desired start timing, weekly availability, preferred airports, prior experience, and whether they have access to an insured aircraft.

These details are then surfaced directly to the provider in the Skyfarer inbox, giving instructors and schools clearer context before replying.

“Flight training is highly personal. A student’s goals, schedule, location, prior experience, and aircraft access all matter when determining whether an instructor or school is the right fit,” said Nick Tsang, Founder of Skyfarer. “This update helps students send better inquiries and helps providers respond with more useful information from the very first message.”

Skyfarer is also introducing a new “Contact more near you” feature. When a student contacts an instructor or school, they may be able to select additional nearby providers and send the same inquiry to them in one step. Each provider receives the inquiry as a separate conversation, with the same message and training details included.

The feature is designed to reduce friction for students who may otherwise need to contact multiple instructors or schools manually. It also reflects the realities of flight training, where availability, aircraft access, airport location, and scheduling can vary significantly between providers.

For instructors and schools, the update is intended to improve lead quality by giving providers more structured information upfront. Instead of receiving a vague inquiry, providers can quickly understand what the student is looking for and whether they may be a good fit.

The new inquiry tools are part of Skyfarer’s broader effort to build a more trusted and efficient aviation marketplace. By improving how students contact providers and how providers receive inquiry details, Skyfarer aims to help more users move from search to meaningful training conversations.

“Too often, people interested in flight training face unnecessary friction before they even get started,” Nick said. “Our goal is to make that first connection easier, clearer, and more actionable for both sides.”
