Slovenia's Aviation Career Center Receives Maldives Civil Aviation Authority Approval as ATO in September 2026

Slovenia — Aviation Career Center (ACC) has received approval from the Maldives Civil Aviation Authority (MCAA) as an Approved Training Organisation, designated ATO 017. Issued on 20 September 2026, the approval marks an important milestone in ACC’s international development.

The approval authorises ACC to deliver the pilot training programmes specified in its MCAA training course approval. These include private pilot training, integrated and modular commercial and airline transport pilot training, instrument ratings, multi-engine piston class ratings, night ratings, Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC), and flight, class rating and instrument rating instructor courses.

Alongside the ATO approval, MCAA issued a qualification certificate for ACC’s flight simulation training device located in Maribor, Slovenia. Qualified as an Aeroplane FNPT Level II, the device represents a generic multi-engine piston aeroplane and is approved for use within the training courses identified in the accompanying approval.

In his congratulatory message, Abdulla Bagir, Flight Operations Inspector at the Maldives Civil Aviation Authority, extended congratulations to the ACC team and wrote: “I appreciate the professionalism and responsiveness shown by your staff at every stage of this process.”

The approval establishes ACC as an MCAA-approved training provider in Slovenia, offering a range of training pathways for pilots pursuing qualifications under the Maldivian civil aviation framework.

ACC thanks the Maldives Civil Aviation Authority for its cooperation throughout the approval process and recognises the contribution of its instructors, management and support staff in achieving this milestone.
