South African Government Agency Announces Funding for Pilot Training Courses
The South African Transport Education Training Authority (TETA) opened the applications for 2024 Unemployed Learners’ Bursaries. Among the courses to be funded are: Private Pilot License, Commercial Pilot License, Instructor’s Rating, Instrument Rating, CPL with ATPL Subjects (Frozen ATPL), and ATPL (Hour Building). The TETA Bursary covers tuition, accommodation or on off campus, transport, and books and meals.
Learners currently in Grade 12 or have completed matric intending to study qualifications selected for the 2024 intake; Currently registered students at universities and colleges who require funding for the 2024 academic year; Aviation students with valid PPL or CPL; Commercial divers with matric (Senior Certificate) are eligible to apply.
Applicants must be studying at or intending to study at Universities (Public and Accredited Private Institutions), University of Technologies, Public and Private Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Colleges and Accredited Aviation Schools, Accredited Diving Schools.
The online application system can be accessed through the TETA website. Deadline of Application is on August 23, 2023.
