South Africa's Alt Academy Adds Roof Structure to Cabin Crew Ditching Pool

South Africa – EPT Aviation Training (SACAA/ATO 1029), a Johannesburg-based aviation training organization and part of the Alt Academy group, is upgrading its cabin crew ditching pool with the addition of a roof structure to enhance water survival training conditions and expand operational capability for cabin crew programs. The upgrade builds directly on the recent installation of the ditching pool itself, which was announced in early 2026 to support ditch and water survival training as part of EPT Aviation Training's cabin crew safety programs.
