South Africa's ALT Academy Launches Instructor Pathway with Federal Airlines

South Africa – ALT Academy, a Johannesburg-based aviation training organisation and full flight simulator training centre, has opened Grade II Flight Instructor recruitment offering a structured career pathway from instructing through Cessna Caravan line flying with Federal Airlines Pty Ltd to Airbus A320 or Boeing 737 type rating within 1 to 1.5 years.

The program is offered in partnership with Better Aviation Group SACAA/1512/ATO.

AFM has previously covered ALT Academy's operations, including the launch of a new Airbus A320 CEO/NEO full flight simulator in 2025, expansion into ab-initio flight training at the end of 2025, installation of an on-site training pool for ditch and water survival training as part of its cabin crew certification program, and the recent intake of eight Jubba Airways cadets for Classic Initial Training.
