Vietnam – Victoria Aviation Academy (VIAA), formerly Vietjet Aviation Academy (VJAA), the Ho Chi Minh City-based airline-owned aviation training institution and full flight simulator training center of Vietjet Air, has opened admissions for Batch 2 of its CAAV and EASA-approved Multi-Crew Pilot Licence (MPL) Training Program, following the successful completion of the international training phase by more than 10 Batch 1 trainees.

Batch 1 of the MPL program has seen over 10 trainees complete their international flight school phase — delivered by Czech EASA ATO F AIR — and return to Vietnam for advanced training phases, validating the program's international-domestic training architecture.
The Batch 2 MPL program follows an 18-month training pathway combining phases in Vietnam and the Czech Republic, with curricula directly calibrated to Vietjet Air's Airbus A320 operational standards.
Financial incentives available to Open Day registrants include a 5% tuition fee discount, up to USD 25,000 in financial support, and flexible payment plans structured across training phases; graduates are offered guaranteed job opportunities at Vietjet Air upon meeting recruitment standards, with a defined career progression from First Officer to Captain and Flight Instructor.
The program holds dual regulatory approval from the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), enabling internationally recognised MPL qualification.
VIAA rebranded from Vietjet Aviation Academy (VJAA) in February 2026 as part of a strategic expansion of its mission from internal airline training support to positioning itself as a globally competitive aviation training institution.
