Aviation Exchange Group, an EASA Approved Training Organization based in Malaga, Spain, announced in March 2024 the commencement of monthly new EASA ATR42/72 Type Rating Course, in response to the rising demand for skilled ATR pilots. In April 2024 it had trained 8 Indian pilots in its training facilities in Malaga while May it graduated another 10 for the ATR72-600.

This follows the earlier in the month arrival of Aviation Exchange Group’s first Flat Panel Trainer (FPT), the FPT600, from SKYWAY Aviation Center. Vijay Dhanwani, CEO of Aviation Exchange Group, expressed his enthusiasm about the new device, stating, “We are excited to announce the forthcoming delivery of SKYWAY’s state-of-the-art FPT600 Flat Panel Trainer. This innovative training device will enable us to maintain the highest training standards while offering a more optimized training solution to our ATR trainees.”

Aviation Exchange Group offers comprehensive training programs on various aircraft types, including the ATR42/72, E-Jets, and B737NG, employing some of the industry’s most advanced Level D full flight simulators along with other sophisticated training devices.
