Spain's FIDTALK Partners with Quality Fly to Provide Online ICAO English Training and Exams

Spain – Madrid-based aviation English training provider FIDTALK has announced a partnership with Spanish flight training organisation Quality Fly, enabling the academy's students to access online ICAO English language proficiency exam preparation and testing services. The collaboration provides Quality Fly cadets with a remote option for meeting language proficiency requirements during their commercial pilot training.

• FIDTALK's training offering covers ICAO English proficiency Levels 4 to 6, with online individual and small-group instruction focused on aviation communication, radiotelephony phraseology, listening comprehension and spoken English in operational scenarios.
• The provider offers a Fast ICAO Level 4 Preparation Course targeting candidates with A2–B1 English proficiency, including a 10-hour intensive training option. It also provides advanced preparation for Levels 5 and 6, covering communication during abnormal and emergency situations and airline interview preparation.
• Quality Fly identifies ICAO Level 4 English proficiency certification as a requirement for the issue of a Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) through its training pathway. The partnership provides students with access to specialist language preparation and remote examination arrangements.
• AFM previously reported that Quality Fly delivers its 20-month integrated ATPL training program entirely in English, following a theory-before-flight training structure that incorporates 220 flight hours and 800 hours of theoretical instruction.
• Under EASA Part-FCL, Level 4 is the minimum acceptable operational language proficiency for pilots required to use radiotelephony. FIDTALK's website directs online examination bookings to Level6Aviation, whose assessments are conducted by L6 Aviation OÜ, an Estonian language testing body holding approval EE/LTAB/003. The issuing licensing authority remains responsible for accepting results and recording the language endorsement.
