Spain's FTEJerez Confirms September 2026 Delivery of 2 Piper Archer DX Aircraft

Spain – flight training group FTEJerez has confirmed that two additional Piper Archer DX aircraft will arrive at its Jerez de la Frontera campus in September 2026, increasing its Archer fleet to 13 aircraft and its total single-engine fleet to 35.

  • Following the additions, FTEJerez’s single-engine fleet will comprise 13 Piper Archers, 20 Piper Warriors, one Robin R2160 and one Citabria High Country Explorer, for a total of 35 aircraft. Its published equipment information also lists nine Diamond DA42 twin-engine aircraft.
  • The Archer DX aircraft are equipped with Garmin G1000 NXi avionics and are used as part of FTEJerez’s ab initio flight training operation alongside its analogue-instrument Piper Warrior fleet and Garmin G1000-equipped Diamond DA42 aircraft.
  • AFM also previously reported that FTEJerez and Piper Aircraft entered a fleet agreement covering 20 new Piper Archer DX aircraft, with the first deliveries beginning in December 2024.
