Spain – One Air Aviation, a Málaga-based EASA-approved training organisation and one of Spain's leading pilot schools, has selected the new Tecnam P2006T NG to complete its unified Next Generation training fleet, becoming one of Europe's first academies to combine both the P2008JC NG and P2006T NG across its full training pathway.

  • One Air was confirmed in January 2026 as Spain's launch customer for the Tecnam P2008JC NG, ordering four aircraft for delivery from Q2 2026. The addition of the P2006T NG now extends the school's Next Generation capability into multi-engine training, creating a fully unified ab initio-to-advanced training ecosystem built around common Tecnam airframe DNA and Garmin avionics architecture.
  • The two-aircraft combination offers avionics continuity across the full training programme: cadets progress from the Garmin G3X glass cockpit in the P2008JC NG directly to the Garmin G1000 NXi-equipped P2006T NG, eliminating the need to transition between fundamentally different flight deck interfaces at the multi-engine rating stage. Both aircraft are powered by the Rotax 912 iSc fuel-injected engine. The P2006T NG additionally features the latest Garmin autopilot system for advanced automation training.
  • One Air's current Tecnam fleet comprises eight P2008JC MKII Premium and one P2006T MKII Premium. Following delivery of the four P2008JC NGs and the newly acquired P2006T NG, the school's total Tecnam fleet will reach 14 aircraft. One Air's overall fleet exceeds 32 state-of-the-art aircraft, supported by a simulator fleet of over 20 devices — the largest simulator fleet of any European ab initio school — including Boeing 737 MAX, Airbus A320, Boeing 737-800 NG and Redbird Full Motion Xwind devices.

  • "We are exceptionally proud to see One Air Aviation take this ambitious step.
