Spain's Virtual Fly Partners with US-Based Apevie for Flight Simulation Controls Distribution

October 20, 2026

USA – Spanish flight simulator manufacturer Virtual Fly has announced a distribution partnership with California-based simulation equipment retailer Apevie, making its flight simulation controls available for purchase and domestic delivery within the United States. The arrangement provides US flight simulation customers with a local purchasing channel for the manufacturer's cockpit hardware.

  • Apevie's US online store currently lists 13 Virtual Fly products, covering flight control yokes, rudder pedals, throttle quadrants, avionics controls and cockpit switch panels. Listed prices range from US$379 for selected SWITCHO panels to US$3,469 for the VF G1000 avionics unit.
  • Under the distribution arrangement, Apevie will supply Virtual Fly equipment from its US inventory. Virtual Fly states that American customers will benefit from faster domestic shipping without additional import duties, while Apevie identifies Huntington Beach, California, as its shipping and local collection location.
  • The partnership extends Virtual Fly's hardware distribution through a retailer serving both flight simulation enthusiasts and customers building simulator installations. The manufacturer also supplies cockpit control equipment for professional flight training devices used by flight schools and aviation training organisations.
  • The hardware available through Apevie includes the YOKO+ flight control yoke, RUDDO+ rudder pedals, TQ3+ throttle quadrant, V3RNIO+ throttle-propeller-mixture controls and VF G1000 avionics unit. Virtual Fly's controls incorporate technologies including Hall-effect position sensors, load-cell braking and USB compatibility with simulation platforms such as Microsoft Flight Simulator, X-Plane and Prepar3D.
  • AFM previously reported that Virtual Fly delivered three SOLO PRO SEMINOLE Advanced Aviation Training Devices (AATDs) to Infinity Flight Group in June 2026, increasing the US flight training provider's Virtual Fly simulator fleet to 15 devices.
